Metal plating
Metal plating work is done by Flagav SRL, which belongs to Flaro Group. Through electrochemical methods we metal plate parts to improve their functional properties and to increase their resistance to corrosion.
Services offered include: zinc, nickel, copper, tin, copper-nickel, nickel-tin plating, passivation of copper, passivation of stainless steel parts.
Electroplating process is achieved through the use of specific equipment:
- two metal plating lines by electro-chemical methods for small parts in barrels: zinc plating, passivation line; nickel plating, copper plating, tin plating lines; automatic line for passivation of copper parts;
- nickel plating bath for small-series and unique parts
- measuring device: for Couloscope measuring of the thickness of metal layers
Through a pre-treatment plant we provide detoxification and treatment of and wastewater treatment from metal plating processes.
One of the main objectives is to maintain the quality management system in compliance with the conditions of ISO 9001/2008 certified by TUV Thuringen in 2006 and recertified in 2009, an essential prerequisite in developing collaborative relationships with the users of our services.
We target companies producing electrical energy used in energy industry, and companies manufacturing transformers and locomotives.
Some of our current customers include: Siemens AG Austria, Kuhnke, Harting, TAS of Sibiu, respectively Europrod-Services in Deva and Tehnoprod Plast in Bistrita.
